Farmer's markets provide a direct source of (usually) organically grown local fruits & vegetables allowing you to get produce that is generally less expensive and fresher than what you'll find in chain grocers.

Farmers@Firehouse is listed as a completely organic market and is strictly a producers-only affair, so you won't have to wonder where your food is coming from as there will be no resellers participating.

The official site is a bit foggy on specifics as to a posted season, so I'm not sure if this is a year-round venture.
